Seismic Safety

By incorporating exterior bracing and reinforcing the welds on the steel columns throughout the library interior, the library will be as safe as any newly constructed library during an earthquake. Given an earthquake as high as 7.2 magnitude, the library will remain standing, suffering repairable damages.
